The standard I am aiming for

My goal for this site is WCAG 2.1 AA. WCAG stands for Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and AA is the middle of its three levels. I do not claim the site meets it.

What is built in

  • A skip link on each page jumps to the main content.
  • Links, buttons and form fields show a clear outline when you reach them with a keyboard.
  • Photos that carry meaning have written descriptions.
  • Each field on the contact form has a label.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the site cuts back its animations.
